Luanda - Cabinda crude oil was the best valued oil in June, with the highest price of USD 127.63 per barrel (BBL) and a monthly average of USD 121.19/BBL.
In second position is Sunflower with a monthly average of USD 120.34/BBL, and in third place is Nemba with a monthly average of USD 118.23/BBL and the highest price of USD 126.03/BBL.
According to the Monthly Oil Bulletin, edited and published by the national oil and gas information provider PetroAngola, the next highest price was for the Dahlia crude, at USD 123.63/BBL, ending the month with an average price of USD 116.72/BBL.
According to the report, throughout the month of June Angolan crude was traded at a premium to Brent (the reference for Angola's exports).
Thus, the combination of prices of Angolan crude oil at a premium on international markets reached an average value of USD 119.12/BBL, trading USD 3.53/BBL above Brent.
Production fell 2.4%
In the period under review, the country produced a total volume of 35.136 million barrels of oil (MMBBLS), an average of 1.171 million barrels/day (MBPD), which represents a reduction of 2.4% in relation to May.
In the month of May this year, production reached volumes in the order of 35,998 MMBBLS.
Block 17, operated by TotalEnergies, registered an average production of 386,054 barrels per day (KBPD), positioning itself as the largest producer in the period under review.
