Luanda - The largest volume of liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports processed in the second quarter of this year, totalling 874,000 metric tonnes (MT), were destined for European countries.
According to data released Tuesday by the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas (MIREMPET), which presented the results of oil and gas exports for the second quarter, in the European countries list, the Netherlands stands out with a volume of 23.30%, followed by France with 15.48%, Germany with 15.38% and the United Kingdom with 7.66%.
Another part of LNG went to the Republic of India, which took 22.87% of the total of LNG exports.
LNG exports were made at an average price of USD 514.65/TM.
In addition to LNG, in the second quarter of this year, Angola also exported 25.06 thousand metric tonnes of Butane gas to China, worth USD 458.49 per metric tonne.
Propane is another gas that was exported to Puerto Rico reaching 13.87% and to China 9.62% and other destinations.
It reaches up to the volume of 158,088 metric tonnes at the price of USD 284,44 TM.
Overall, in referred period, Angola exported 1.12 million metric tonnes of LNG, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and natural-gas condensate, valued at USD 542.36 million. NE/MRA/jmc
