Saurimo – The rehabilitation works on the 80 kilometers of the Saurimo/Dala section, along the National Road EN-180, are 68% physically completed and will be completed this year, ANGOP learned today.
Work is progressing at a good pace and is expected to be completed this year.
The project enters a very critical period, in which rainfall is very frequent in the Eastern region, but some incentives will be created for the contractor to meet the established deadlines.
According to the Minister of Public Works, Carlos dos Santos, he was satisfied with the work in progress and believes that within the next few months the section will be open to traffic, in compliance with the deadlines set out in the schedule.
During his stay in the province of Lunda Sul, minister Carlos dos Santos, accompanied by the vice-governor for the Technical and Infrastructure sector, Cláudio Pemessa, technicians from the National Roads Institute (INEA), assessed the works at the Saurimo house project, National Road -240, in the Muconda/Biula and Cazage section and the ravine of the municipal headquarters of Muconda.
