Luanda - Central Securities Registration Center (CRGM) will allow to expand the possibilities of access to credit, using real estate guarantees, hitherto used by the Angolan and financial system, and securities guarantees, the State Secretary for Economy has said.
Mário Caetano João, stressed the importance of the institution on Friday at the official launch of the CRGM.
CRGM will enable creditors to accept as guarantee, the assets such as vehicles, jewelry and homes.
According to him, CRGM is linked to an electronic platform of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and aims to improve the business environment in Angola.
The objective is to define the legal framework on the use of movable assets, as a guarantee for obtaining financing.
The Secretary of State described the initiative as a landmark of great importance for the improvement of the business environment, which will improve the positioning of Angola in the classification of Doing Business, in the domain of access to credit.
CRGM brings together all information on the registration of guarantees on movable property.
They include ships, aircraft, motor and rail vehicles, as well as shareholdings, intellectual property rights, securities and movable property, not subject to property registrations, provided that offered as a guarantee of compliance with obligations.
In turn, the director-general of the National Institute for the Promotion of the Information Society (INFOSI), Meick Afonso, said it was a platform created to facilitate the business environment, where everyone can access it through the address www.crgm.gov.ao.
