Luanda - The start date of the General Population and Housing Census (RGPH/2024), initially scheduled for July 19, was changed to September 19, in Angola, to complete the setup of logistical conditions, according to the National Statistics Institute (INE).
In a note, sent on Tuesday to ANGOP, INE clarifies that the Census will take place over 30 days, ending on October 19th of this year. According to the institution, as soon as the need to expand logistical support in the different sections of the census was felt, INE previously informed the Multisectoral Commission to support the 2024 Census.
