Luanda - An Angolan delegation from the National Institute for the Support of Micro, Small and Medium Size Enterprises (INAPEM) will participate in the "Startup Summit 2023" on 23-25 August in Florianópolis, Federative Republic of Brazil,
The event is sponsored by the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (SEBRAE) and focuses on promoting Startups.
The goal is to develop a reference for systematic action in this business model, aimed at reducing bureaucracy in public policies.
More than 200 speakers will participate in the Startup Summit Brazil 2023, which is expected to bring together 10,000 people, including investors and relevant individuals in terms of the ecosystem of this business model.
The event will allow a greater range of business opportunities and connection between the different players in the ecosystem (Startups), in addition to guaranteeing its internationalisation.
According to the organisation of the event, the invited countries of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) will carry out various activities, such as technical visits to the SEBRAE innovation ecosystem and sharing of knowledge and ideas on the development of the economy.
The Angolan delegation, which has been in Brazil since Monday, includes the head of the Consultancy and Technical Assistance Department, Alexandre Manuel, and the representative of the Startups Association of Angola, Morato Custódio.
In Angola, 144 startups are registered with the National Institute for the Support of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. CLAU/AC/CF/NIC
