Luanda - The panorama of the investment environment in Angola and the potential of the hotel sector were recently presented to businessmen from the Americas in Madrid, Spain, by the Minister of Tourism, Márcio Daniel.
The Minister made the presentation at the Investment Forum of the Americas, adding the different advantages for those who decide to invest in Angola, such as tax benefits and a simplified registration process for companies, according to a note from the Ministry of Tourism sent to ANGOP.
According to the statement, the Barcelo, Iberostar, Hayatt, Mi Hotels and Banyan groups intend to invest in the Angolan market.
It adds that Angola is an emerging tourist destination and that the presence of these major players in the hotel market will make it possible to improve the quality of services and increase the country's reputation abroad, as well as increase the number of accommodations available.
The Barcelo Hotels Group, with more than 90 years of experience in the hospitality industry, has a business model strongly focused on sun and beach tourism, with resorts in privileged locations.
The group's hotels are characterized by their commitment to sustainability and adaptation to the preferences of different types of vacationers.
