Lobito-The NPK fertilizer mixing factory, Angata Lda, located in Lobito, Benguela, plans to increase its production capacity this year from 100,000 tons to 150,000 tons per year, the company's agronomist César Lisboa has said.

César Lisboa said that this increase is the result of the credit of two billion kwanzas received in 2024, through the Credit Guarantee Fund (FGC), adding that the company also intends to increase its packaging capacity for various products.

We produce various types of fertilizers, such as a mixture of phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium and various other formulations of compound fertilizers," he explained.

He added that the company has a project to visit its customers and provide training on how to apply the fertilizer and how to feed the plant, in order to increase the productivity of the farmers.

César Lisboa said that they use international markets such as China, Turkey and Morocco to buy raw materials and that the factory currently has 10,000 tons of fertilizer for sale./ASS/DAN/AMP
