Dundo - Sagrada Esperança football team players have refused to train due to the delay in the delivery of match bonuses, ahead of the team’s Saturday's game against Progresso do Sambizanga for the 6th round of the top football championship Girabola2021-2022, ANGOP has learnt.

According to a source close to the club, the players allegedly claim the prizes for the games against Petro de Luanda (Super Cup), Williete de Benguela and Bravo do Maquis (Girabola).

The prize totaled three million kwanzas for each player, being one million for each game.

Players have threatened not to show up at Saturday's game against Progresso Sambizanga, the reason why the club's management is meeting to find negotiation mechanisms with the players.

The defending champions are currently unbeaten in the second position of the national first division football Championship with 11 points with two draws and three wins.
