Luanda - The defeat of Bravos do Maquis by Petro de Luanda, by 0-2, in the former’s stronghold, marked the 4th round of the first division National Football Championship (Girabola2024/25), played during the weekend, in several provinces of the country.
In this game played on Sunday at the Mundunduleno Stadium, in the city of Luena, eastern Moxico Province, Julinho and Pedro Bondo were the scorers.
With this result, Bravos do Maquis remain in sixth position in the competition, with 5 points, while Petro de Luanda places first with 12 points.
In the other match of the round, held Saturday, the runner-up Sagrada Esperança (10th/4 pts) drew with Interclube (5th/5), 1-1, at their Stadium, in the city of Dundo, in Lunda-Norte, with goals from Edi (41') and Anderson (67').
Also on Sunday, 1º de Agosto, 3rd placed with 10 points, beat Desportivo da Lunda-Sul (16º/0), 3-2, at the 22 de Junho stadium, in Luanda, with goals from Agnaldo (2) and Mabelé, while Robson scored the two goals for Desportivo da Lunda-Sul.
