Dundo - Sagrada Esperança announced on Thursday the signing of ten players, six Angolans and four foreigners, who will strengthen the team's squad for the second round of the national football championship, which resumes on February 19.
The announcement was made during the presentation of six of the ten reinforcements by the club's president, José Muacabalo.
The players are full-backs Diógenes Capemba (ex Petro de Luanda), Joel Aldair (ex Luanda City) and goalkeeper Adolfo Manuel (ex Academia de Futebol de Angola/AFA), aged 28, 23 and 21 respectively.
Also presented were midfielders Mário (ex São Salvador do Zaire), Gelson Kabeto (ex Luanda City) and Evanio (ex Luanda City), aged 24, 26 and 23 respectively.
José Muacabalo said that the club has only registered two players from Colombia and Senegal, who should join the squad in the next few days, once the migration process is resolved.
Without revealing the names of the foreigners, he only said that they were a striker and an attacking midfielder.
The other two foreigners, he continued, were not registered because the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) regulations allow only five players to be registered, and the contracts for the ten players run from one to two seasons, with an optional year.
Sagrada Esperança are currently in 7th place in the Girabola with 18 points and two games in hand.
The competition is led by Petro de Luanda with 33 points, followed by Wiliete with 32 points.JVL/HD/TED/AMP
