Luanda - 1º de Agosto lost 0-1 to Sagrada Esperança on Thursday in the 15th round of the national first division football championship (Girabola2023/24), played at Luanda’s Coqueiros Stadium.
The sole goal of the match was scored by Walter (57') on an alternative pitch for Sagrada Esperança football team.
With this result Sagrada Esperança climbed to third place with 27 points, while 1º de Agosto is in fifth position with (20pts).
In the other Thursday’s match Petro de Luanda drew goalless with Desportivo da Lunda Sul in the postponed match of the seventh round.
As a result of the 0-0 draw, Desportivo da Huila continues to lead the competition with 32 points, followed by Petro de LLuanda (28 points), while Sporting de Cabinda is in the last position with (8) points.
