Luanda - The Angolan Football Federation (FAF) was fined by FIFA to pay 4.5 million Kwanzas for invasion of fans on the pitch, in the game of 12 November 2021 between Angola and Egypt.

In the match played at 11 de Novembro Stadium, in the Angolan capital, for the 5th round of the qualifiers for access to this year's World Cup in Qatar, some fans invaded the field for a hug or take photo with Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star.

The fact was confirmed last Monday to ANGOP, in Luanda, by the director of the Institutional Communication Office of the Federation António Muachilela, adding that the amount equivalent to USD 7,000 must be amortized in the next months.

To remember that in that match the national team drew with the Egyptian counterpart by two balls each, having failed to qualify to the world championship by finishing in the last position of group F, with five points.
