Luanda - Group E, qualifying for the African Cup of Nations in football, to be held in Côte d'Ivoire, in 2023, is quite balanced, according to the national coach, Pedro Gonçalves.
The Palancas Negras (nickname of the national soccer team) are in the same group as Ghana, CAR and Madagascar.
In a press conference, held tonight, at the headquarters of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), after the draw, the coach said that, in addition to a dream, everything will be done to make the qualification come true.
"This is a balanced group and we must create the necessary conditions for our qualification", he said.
Pedro Gonçalves considers Ghana the main favorite due to its history, being one of the five representatives of Africa in the World Cup, taking place this year in Qatar.
However, he says it is necessary to respect all the teams in the group and work to win games, especially those played as hosts.
The coach defends administrative and logistical improvements to avoid mistakes that prevented Angola from being in the Cameroon CAN and the Qatar World Cup.
As for the players to be called up, he reiterated that the National Team must include those committed to the country.
