Luanda - The swimmers from 1 º de Agosto Club, on Monday in Luanda Island, won the 1500m Open Water race at the end of the 3rd edition of the Luanda International Meeting.
In the constitution of the competition podium, in male youth, Kaio Elias with a time of 23:25, occupied first place, Mário Baptista (23:38) was second, and Lucas Palha (27:32) was third, in the maritime zone of the Angolan capital.
In the women's race, in the same class, Maria Parimbeli (24:24), from the Luanda Island Nautical Club (CNIL), was in the first place, followed by Kaila Santos (26:04), from 1º de Agosto, and Chelsia Vunge (26:06), from CNIL, in third place.
For the Triathlon, Paulo Cândido, from the Tatu team, won the competition with a time of 2:09:52, followed by his colleague Francisco Catarino (2:25:25), while Samuel Manuel (2:25:35), from Clube Desportivo Racing Vial (CDRV) was the third.
In the relay race, Cândido Monteiro, from the Tchaco team, won with a time of 2:22:10.
The Luanda International Meeting, which also took place as part of the celebrations of the 449th anniversary of Luanda, the capital city of Angola, celebrated on January 25th, was attended by more than 70 athletes.
