Luanda - The teams of 1º de Agosto and Petro de Luanda Wednesday took the lead in the 44th Senior Women's National Handball Championship, which is taking place in the south-west Namibe Province, after the 3rd round, in different groups.
In the B series, 1º de Agosto, who are the title holders, beat the Mora do Virei team by 35-12, thus adding six points. Casa do Pessoal do Porto do Lobito team beat 1º de Agosto B 28-19.
Petro de Luanda, who are in group A, also have six points, beat Mandjesport do Bengo by 41-5. Still in the same series, the Sporting de Luanda team beat the Estrelas do Palácio da Huíla by 21-18.
The competition is scheduled to take a general break on Thursday.
