Luanda - Cameroon's national team beat Burkina Faso 2-1, in the opening match of the Group A, of the 33rd edition of the African Nations Cup (CAN2022), played Sunday at the Olembe Stadium, in Yaoundé.
The hosts were losing after 24 minutes with a goal scored by Sangaré, but Aboubakar with a penalty kick scored the two goals of victory, at 40 and 45+3.
Angola is being represented by referee Helder Martins and assistant Jerson Emiliano.
The next game of Cameroon will be on Thursday, against Ethiopia the same as the Cape Verde - Burkina Faso match.
