Luanda - Interclube of Angola’s senior women basketball team player, the Mozambican Ingvild Macuaro, was elected MVP of the national senior women's basketball championship.
Interclube beat 1º de Agosto in the fourth game of the best-of-five playoff games to lift the 15th title of the team.
Macuaro also won the title of player with most assists of the competition, while Carlos Diniz was elected best coach of the competition.
Formigas do Cazenga that were deemed the sensation team reached the unprecedented third position, with three players being distinguished, namely Sara Caetano (fair-play player), Fátima Miguel (top scorer) and Magda Musol (top steals).
Grupo Desportivo Maculusso Helena Francisco was elected best free throws scorer and Filomena Gaspar best two points scorer.
1º de Agosto Rosemira Daniel came aout best three-point scorer.
