Luanda – Angola’s Petro de Luanda and Libya’s Al Alhy Benghazi in the final game of the African Basketball League to be played in Kigali, Rwanda, in a bid to win their first title in this competition.
The Angolan champions will be in their second final after 2022, where they lost to Monastir 83-92.
Petro de Luanda has Nicolas Faust from the United States as its main reference, having been decisive in the last two victories against As Douanes from Senegal and South Africa’s CapeTownTigers.
On the other side, the Libyan team, which is making its debut in the competition, is coming off a run of three wins to reach the final.
Ahly eliminated champions Al Alhy from Egypt.
