Moxico boxing association aims to organize national competitions

Luena – The organization of national and regional championships is one of the objectives of the Moxico Provincial Boxing Association, for the next 4 years (2024/28), informed, today, the chairholder of the modality, Salomão Cambula, re-elected for another term.

To achieve this goal, he said that the priority will be to invest in infrastracture conditions, as well as the promotion of this sport in Moxico, in a project that will have the support of the Angolan Boxing Federation and the local business class.

In the election, which saw the participation of more than 50 boxers, only three clubs were selected for voting.

In Moxico, the Provincial Boxing Association controls 65 boxers from the age of 6 to 35, in 2 of the nine municipalities of that province, namely the provincial headquarters (Moxico) and Luau. LTY/TC/YD/CF/DOJ
