Luanda - Angola lost 24-30 to France on Sunday in the second and final round of the international senior women's handball tournament.
Angola was losing 13-15 at half-time of the tournament held in the French region of Saint Etienne, in preparation for the 26th African Nations Championship to take place on November 27 to December 7 in Kinshasa (DRC).
The African champions drew 31 with the Czech Republic on Friday. The national team leaves the French capital on Monday to take part in the competition.
In the African championship, the Angolans are in group B with Guinea, Cameroon, Uganda, DRC and Tunisia, their opening opponents.
Angola is looking for its 16th continental title.
