Luanda – After their previous presence in Hungary in 2019, the National Team will compete in the 2023 ICF Canoe and Kayak Sprint World Championships, to happen this August 23-28 in Duisburg City, Germnay.
The Angolan canoeing team, managed by Fortunato Pacavira, is made up by Manuel António, Domingos Pacavira and Benilson Sanda.
In kayak, the team that will be coached by César Fidalgo is made up by Jairo Domingos, Geovany Bofila and Simão Camazaulo.
According to the head of the Angolan delegation to the event, Pemba Domingos, speaking to ANGOP on Friday, the objective is to use the competition as a preparation for the African championship set for November this year, in Nigeria, in which the country will seek to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games of Paris.
